It’s the season of being thankful, and Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is thankful for all of the collectibles that have been released throughout 2024 so far! Of course, with the holidays approaching, we’re not done yet — there are still two more months to go in the year, and many brand-new pop culture releases are on the horizon. Here’s what we can look forward to this November.
DC’s Absolute Universe expands once again with the re-introduction of the Man of Steel himself!
In previous iterations of Superman’s origins, baby Kal-El has always arrived on Earth as an infant. Typically, he lands straight into the arms of the loving Kent family in Smallville. However, DC’s Absolute Superman #1 changes everything — Superman’s entire origins are challenged and altered in this series. Instead of arriving on Earth as a baby, Kal-El arrives as a full-grown man, and even lands somewhere besides Kent Farm!
Following the insanely popular launch of the DC Absolute Universe, it expands even more to welcome the introduction of Absolute Superman by Jason Aaron and Rafa Sandoval. According to DC Comics, Superman is “without the fortress… without the family… without a home. What’s left is the Absolute Man of Steel!”

Wizards of the Coast reintroduces Magic: The Gathering’s fundamentals with this new, evergreen set!
Magic: The Gathering’s newest set, Foundations, is described as the “quintessential” MTG set, providing fundamentals and the “backbone” of what is to come for MTG over the next decade. Consisting of half reprints, half new cards, Foundations is structured to not only be in rotation until at least 2029 but also serve as a gateway for new and returning players to easily learn the game’s mechanics and fall into a rhythm of casual and competitive play.

The flagship card series of the F1 season is revving up for its latest release! Coming out on November 22, the 2024 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Racing set features all of your favorite F1 drivers, along with up-and-coming talent from F2 and F3. Per usual, the series includes colorful designs and backgrounds, and is showcased on premium chromium card stock that F1 fans have come to expect out of the sport's premier card set.
The 200-card Base set features several subsets, including cards highlighting F1 racers, race cars, race helmets, event winners and more. Each base card has nearly 30 different parallels, with hobby pack-exclusive Superfractors and other rare parallels available to chase. Collectors have chances to find their favorite driver's signatures as well in Chrome Autographs, 1954 Topps Signatures, Circuit Masters Signatures and Futuro Autographs inserts.

It’s almost our turn to have “one short day” in the Emerald City!
When Wicked premiered in San Fransisco as a musical in May 2023, it became a cultural phenomenon that shook the theater industry to its core.
